Make Words is a collaborative project created by Erik Scollon and Kari Marboe begun at the invitation of Christine Wong Yap as part of her project Make Things (Happen). Make Things (Happen) is a participatory project featuring artist-created activity sheets to make things or make things happen. Kari Marboe and Erik Scollon both teach ceramics, one at California College of the Arts, the other at UC Berkeley. They are both interested in tiny worm holes between art and the everyday. Make Words is an expansion of one of the projects they did with their class in the Spring of 2015. You are invited to Make Words along with them.
